Explanation of New Payout Structure

Hi Iwan,

You should have received an email message from ShareASale about changes in how we're doing payouts. When we originally transitioned our affiliate program over to ShareASale, we wanted to keep the same type of payout structure we were using with our previous solution. In order to do that, we had a write a lot of special code and logic to make it work. Over time that code has become a technical burden in regards to billing and account management flexibility on our own backend. In order to simplify, reduce the possibility of errors and to streamline how our system works with ShareASale, we switched to simply having a percentage payout for the life of each paying account on Raven.

All affiliates that are on our higher tiers should actually get paid more than our previous structure over time since the average lifetime of a paid Raven account is about 18 months.

- If your tier was 75% (initial payout and then 10% of 75% each additional month), you are now at 15% for every month. 15% breaks even with old 75% after 13 months, after which you make more (10% more commissions than old plan after 18 months).

- If your tier was 100% (initial payout and then 10% of 100% each additional month), you are now at 20% for every month. 20% breaks even with old 100% after 9 months, after which you make more (33% more commissions than old plan after 18 months).

All of the affiliates that drive traffic and sales should be on a higher tier. If you are not, please let me know and I'll review your account. In addition to this change, we will be updating ShareASale with new banners in the near future. Stay tuned.
